That’s the idea behind X7 Passport, a digital guest pass created by X7 Stays to connect participating overnight guests with local offers in Georgetown, Kentucky. Open your personal link, browse the businesses, and bring your pass along when you head out.

X7 Passport has just launched in beta. The first guest passes are in use, and we’re continuing to add businesses and refine the experience. You can use the offers already available while we work on what comes next.

What is X7 Passport?

X7 Passport brings two useful things together: a personal guest pass tied to your reservation and a local directory that helps you discover participating businesses.

Your personal pass shows your name, the property where you’re staying, your check-in and checkout dates, and a QR code. The directory shows the businesses and their current guest perks.

There’s no app to install. Your passport opens in your phone’s browser, and you can return to the same link throughout your stay.

We built it because finding somewhere to eat or something to do shouldn’t mean starting from scratch every time you visit. Passport gives guests a place to start and gives participating businesses another way to meet people staying nearby.

What offers are available in Georgetown?

The Georgetown Passport directory is the place to check the latest offers. At the time of writing, it lists 10% off food at Slainte Public House and 10% off tickets through Seat33.com.

Other businesses may appear with wording such as “Guest offer being finalized” or “Perk details coming soon.” Those listings give you a look at what we’re working on. They are not active discounts yet.

Before using an offer, open the business listing and read the current details. Availability, exclusions and redemption instructions can vary by business. An in-person food offer and an online ticket offer may have different steps. If the instructions aren’t clear, message your host before purchasing so we can help.

The directory also includes ideas for exploring Georgetown. Local recommendations and participating discounts are separate: a place being suggested in the guide does not automatically mean it offers a Passport discount.

How to use your guest passport

1. Open your personal link

For a participating reservation, your host provides a link to your own X7 Passport. Open it to see your name, property and stay dates. If you haven’t received one, ask your host whether Passport is available for your booking.

2. Choose an offer

Tap “View Georgetown Discounts” below your passport. Browse the businesses and choose an offer that is currently available. Listings marked pending or coming soon are not ready to redeem.

3. Show your pass

For an in-person offer, show your passport’s QR code so staff can scan it and check your eligibility. Follow any additional instructions in the offer listing, and let staff know you’re using a Passport offer before they finalize your bill.

4. Enjoy it and tell us how it went

We’d love to hear which offers you tried, what worked well and what could be clearer. Reply to your host’s Passport message with feedback. During this beta launch, those real experiences help us improve the program for the next guest.

When is my passport active?

Your pass is valid from your scheduled check-in time until your scheduled checkout time, subject to your reservation remaining eligible.

You can browse the directory before arrival, but that does not make a future stay’s pass active early. After checkout, the verification page shows that the pass has expired.

The “Check status” button opens the same verification page a business sees when scanning the QR code. That page checks the current record rather than relying on a badge saved in an old image.

Can I save my passport to my phone?

Yes. Tap “Download passport” to save a copy. Depending on your phone and browser, you may see a share menu or a downloaded image that you can save to Photos. There is also a “Print / save PDF” option.

The saved version is convenient to pull up, but it cannot update itself. Staff should scan its QR code to check the live status. An old screenshot does not extend your stay or keep a discount active after checkout.

You can also skip the download and keep using your personal link. Both options lead back to the same stay.

Why we’re starting with a beta

We want Passport to work well for the person on each side of the counter: the guest presenting a pass and the employee checking it.

Starting with participating Georgetown stays gives us a chance to learn from actual use. We’re checking whether the instructions are clear, whether offers are easy to find and whether businesses have what they need to welcome Passport guests.

The program will change as we add offers and improve the experience. The live directory, rather than a saved screenshot or this launch article, should always be your reference for what is currently available.

Quick answers

Is X7 Passport available to every Airbnb guest in Georgetown?

No. The current beta is for participating reservations. Staying in Georgetown or booking through Airbnb does not automatically include Passport access. Check with your host.

Is X7 Passport an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass?

The current version is a browser-based guest passport with a downloadable image. You don’t need a wallet app to use it.

Do all listed businesses offer a discount right now?

No. Use listings with an available offer. Businesses marked pending, being finalized or coming soon are not offering a redeemable Passport perk yet.

What if my pass does not work?

Try “Check status” from your personal passport and make sure you are within your stay dates. If you still need help, reply to your host’s message. Wait for confirmation before asking a business to apply a discount.

Can I share my personal passport link?

Keep it private. It is tied to your reservation and is not a public coupon. A business may also ask to see your reservation in the booking app.
